A friend of mine loves the game grumps. This is well done and funny.

PlagueDocterNick responds:

Thanks! I used the originals as a reference, I was practicing styles and Arin Hansen's style was one I wanted to try.

Amazing. This is one of those pieces where anyone can see anything. It's very abstract and awesome.

PlagueDocterNick responds:

It appears to be everyone's favorite, anyone I show it too likes it. Someone actually offered to buy it, to which i politely declined.

I love the city in the background with the birds above and how it just fades into the bg.

NGXmusical responds:

shaheen92 responds:

thanks man :)

I love this but hate some of the edges where it looks like a copy and paste. I like a more fade out softness to artwork but where his legs and satchel are seems just too straight lined not to be cut and pasted. I'm not saying you didn't do it, I'm pretty sure you did. It's just that I think you did it, copied and then pasted it. The same choppiness is near the back where the jet pack is. Other than that this was a wonderful piece. If I am wrong about the copy and paste method, please tell me. I don't want to be a jerk or start something. I really do like it.

Jellyfishking3 responds:

You're not a jerk, and, to an extent, you are correct about me cutting, at least. With scissors. Real-life scissors. And then scanning it over another piece of paper. You see, I had planned on giving it a pretty killer background, but in the end, I screwed up and decided to preserve it by cutting him out. I suppose I could have cleaned up those edges afterwards, but hey, I'm lazy.

I'm a writer/actor/voice actor/singer. Im the creator of The Monsters Inside Me. I was in the film Hungry Eyes as well as stage and online animations.
